30th December 2015 - we left Chitwan to head to our final destination, Nagarkot, after 0900. The route took us back to the Pokhara Road and then through the hills to the Katmandu Valley.
We hit Katmandu at rush hour - although may be it is always rush hour - and even though we made our way on the ‘ring roda’ it was very slow going made worse by the Mumbai style driving which requires ignoring any concept of lanes !
Nagarkot ies in the hills about an hour outside Katmandu but at 3000 meters about twice the height of the city. The Club Himalaya - the best in town was suffering from a lack of guest and power so the dinner buffet was a bit of a sad affair.
